1980-1990

In 1984, Ponsi Rubinetterie Toscane exhibited at one of the first editions of the Cersaie fair in Bologna, dedicated in those days principally to the ceramic tile sector. The company presented “Blumix”, one of the first Italian mixer taps with a ceramic disc cartridge, which would become Ponsi’s n° 1 product for the next ten years. The third generation of the Ponsi family now came into the company, and in 1988 the decision was taken to entrust the day-to-day running of the business to a manager outside of the family circle.
